SMF78CA Description:
The SMF Series Transient Voltage Suppressors is a semiconductor device with surge absorption capability, its response time is extremely fast, up to the sub-nanosecond level, so once the circuit receives an instantaneous high-energy shock when it can suppress this energy, by absorbing the instantaneous high-current, high-voltage clamps from the circuit, the end result is the protection of the equipment or circuit behind.
